EAL is an experiential approach to teaching life skills using horses. Certified through Cartier Farms Equine Assisted Learning Certification Program
Horses consistently react to stimulus provided to them through their sight, hearing and body language without judgment. With their intuitive nature and innate sensitivity horses magnify an individual problem and provide a window into the participants personality. Horses don't over-think the individuals motive but do challenge their behaviour and leadership. Learning to listen to what horses are telling you can sometimes spur on individual change. If you are willing to learn then EAL is an excellent way to attaining self discovery.
There are many benefits to working on yourself and including horses, below are just a few.
Learn all about horses, what makes them tick, how to care for them, how we interact with them and how they interact with each other. We will groom, learn how to build trust and good communication as well as challenge ourselves as we work through EAL exercises.
Our goal at GRN at Canimore Woods is to help your children to build confidence, make friends and create lasting memories. We have only small groups attend our youth horsemanship sessions so we can guarantee the right amount of personal attention. Parents are welcome to observe or if preferred, they can leave the premises during our sessions. You will know how to best maximize your Childs experience.
Confidence leads to success. You can feel assured that your child or children will have a fun and safe time with a focus on confidence building. Horses react to stimulus. By their intuitive nature, horses can provide facilitators with a window into the participant’s personality. Through the discovery of how sensitive horses are, how kind and forgiving they can be, we can guide participants to becoming better individuals through identifying specific horse behaviors. .
